Terms of engagement.
These terms apply to projects between zzd and the client. Short, in plain English, no surprises. By signing the quote you accept them.
01 Scope
These terms cover design, build, hosting, and care services. The signed quote and these terms together form the contract.
02 Quote & scope
After the discovery call we send a fixed-price quote with scope, milestones, and a launch window. Out-of-scope work is a written change order with its own price.
We don't bill by the hour. We absorb the risk of going over within the agreed scope.
03 Prices & payment
Project price in two parts: 50% on kickoff, 50% on launch.
All prices in CHF, before VAT where applicable. Invoices payable within 30 days. Hosting and care plans are billed annually after year one.
04 Delivery & handover
We share screens in week one, run two rounds of feedback, then build. We launch with you, hand over credentials, and start your first hosting year if you have a plan.
05 Ownership & licences
You own the code, content, designs, and domain once the final invoice is paid. We keep a licence to use anonymised screenshots and a sentence-long case study, unless you ask us not to.
Third-party components keep their original licences (we list them on handover).
06 Hosting & care
Hosting and care plans are month-to-month after the first year. Cancel with one month's notice. We always export your site and credentials when you leave.
07 Warranty & limits
For 90 days after launch, we fix anything we built that doesn't work as agreed, free.
Beyond that, our liability is limited to the project fee. We're not liable for third-party outages, content you publish, or use beyond the agreed scope.
08 Law & disputes
Swiss law applies. We try hard to resolve issues by talking first. If we can't, the courts at our place of business have jurisdiction.
