{zzd} is an independent web studio. We design, build, host, and maintain websites for small and medium businesses across Switzerland. We work remotely with clients in every canton, in four languages, and we're picky about who we work with and how. So far it's gone well.
What we do
We build websites for restaurants, boutiques, studios, trades, and the kinds of small businesses that don't have an in-house digital team. Every site is bespoke on the front. Underneath sits a dependable, mostly open-source back end. Hosted in Switzerland.
We don't take on projects we don't think will go well. If a brief sounds wrong for us, we'll tell you, and usually point you to someone better suited.
How we charge
Fixed price, agreed in writing before we start. 50% on kickoff, 50% on launch. Hosting and care are billed annually after the first year. We don't bill by the hour. We don't bill for emails. If something breaks on our side after launch, we fix it on our time.

Open standards, well-maintained tools, plain HTML. We don't chase frameworks. Your site will still work in five years.
